Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our BD&M team within the Midwest. The role supports pursuits for Transportation, Construction Services, Buildings and Places, and other teams across Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, or Austin, TX.

You will lead proposals, assist with capture planning, and mentor junior staff while driving process improvements. The role emphasizes client service, win themes, and collaboration with marketing and technical teams to deliver compliant, compelling

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of combined proposal experience in AEC industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently through the proposal lifecycle.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM; InDesign preferred.
Experience with TxDOT or major metro cities.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, development, and delivery of proposals and presentations.
Collaborate on capture planning, interview development, and win themes.
Lead complex proposals from initial request to final submission; ensure compliance.
Create client-focused proposal sections and edit technical approaches.
Coordinate interview teams and maintain CRM records.
Mentor junior BD staff and promote best practices.
