Job summary

Myers & Sons Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Coordinator to support the development of high-quality proposals for heavy civil, water and infrastructure pursuits. This role can operate across our Sacramento, Pico Rivera, or Denver offices.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, deadline-driven, and adept at coordinating multiple contributors in a fast-paced environment, translating technical information into persuasive client-focused content.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional proposal, marketing, or technical writing experience.
• Experience coordinating complex RFQs, SOQs, and technical proposals.
• Experience with heavy civil construction, transportation, aviation, transit, bridges, highways, or public infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal development from kickoff through final submission.
• Review solicitation requirements and develop compliance matrices and schedules.
• Coordinate proposal teams and production plans.
• Develop and edit compelling content that communicates qualifications and approach.
• Lead development of assigned sections from interviews and sessions.
• Manage proposal schedules and deadlines and track information.
• Support proposal interviews, presentations, and visuals with the team.
• Coordinate resumes, project descriptions, graphics, and supporting docs.
• Perform quality-control and compliance reviews for persuasive, submission-ready proposals.
• Maintain and improve proposal resources and tools.
