Job summary

CAI is a professional services company seeking a Proposal Manager to lead and coordinate the full proposal development lifecycle. The role requires collaboration with Practice Leaders, business development and operations to deliver high-quality proposals.

You will lead from creation to bid submission, review quality, and drive process improvements while maintaining timely delivery and compliance with templates.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in English, liberal arts, business, engineering, marketing, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and producing proposals with pharma experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to flex schedules and shift priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to organize large volumes of information effectively.
• Excellent proposal coordination: planning, organization, communication, and resource management.
• Exceptional English written and verbal skills with professional demeanor.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills; CRM experience desired.
• Ability to work with Adobe and MS templates to maintain corporate style.
• Team player willing to assist teammates and communicate with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leaders, BD and operations to support proposals.
• Collect and manage development of proposal responses with regional teams.
• Review and measure the quality of proposals written by others.
• Assist with continuous process improvement, including after-action reviews and lessons learned.
• Responsible for various response types including detailed RFPs, RFIs, cost opinions, and statements of qualification.
• Lead the overall proposal development from creation to bid submission.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate metrics and KPIs for proposals and team performance.
• Potentially lead part of the Proposal team.
