Job summary

The Wilkinson Firm is seeking a Director of Proposal Development to lead bid management initiatives. This is a hybrid 1099 contract role offering $100-200/hr engaged along with a 3-5% win bonus. The position encourages non-exclusive engagements, allowing for other consulting work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in proposal and bid management.
• APMP credential preferred.
• Experience in state HHS or behavioral health contracting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify state and commercial RFPs across all divisions.
• Conduct bid-no-bid analysis with leadership.
• Oversee full proposal lifecycle: kickoff to submission.
• Coordinate contributions from SMEs effectively.
• Build response library with key documents.
• Track post-submission outcomes.
