Job summary

The Wilkinson Firm is seeking an Independent Consultant for project-based work in federal proposal management. This role requires expertise in managing the full proposal lifecycle, compliance matrix ownership, and strong technical writing abilities. Ideal candidates will have 5-15 years of experience in federal proposals, with a proven track record in managing proposals over $1M.

This position supports a fully remote work structure, offering an hourly rate ranging from $100 to $500 based on experience and project scope.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years in federal proposal management, technical writing, or capture support.
• Documented track record managing $1M+ federal proposals.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, RFP structures, and compliance matrix methodology.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full proposal lifecycle: kickoff, compliance matrix, submission.
• Conduct technical writing and editing for proposals.
• Establish and maintain a response library.
