Amazon is seeking a Sr. Tax Analyst to join our Personal Property Tax compliance team supporting data centers, fulfillment centers, and offices across the United States.

The role involves preparing workpapers, collaborating with tax authorities, and maintaining tax databases in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in audits, updates to processes, and the creation of GenAI workflows to streamline property tax operations, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and cross-team communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• 3+ years of tax or finance analytics experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workpapers and support for Amazon’s Personal Property Tax audits.
• Collaborate with taxing jurisdictions through the full audit cycle.
• Review value notices for personal and real property tax portfolios.
• Assist with property tax payments and returns.
• Maintain and enhance the personal property tax database.
• Update internal property tax process documents.
• Identify areas for improvement within the role and responsibilities.
• Support internal reporting and other tax projects as directed by management.
• Create and maintain GenAI workflows to improve processes.
