Job summary
Allianz Commercial seeks a property engineer consultant to perform on-site surveys and risk assessments for complex occupancies across the West zone. You will support underwriting with loss control insights, develop client-specific solutions, and coordinate between clients, brokers, and internal teams.
The role requires 7+ years in property risk engineering, familiarity with NFPA/FM Global guidelines, and travel across the US/Canada.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years in Property Risk Engineering and Earthquake risk.
- Experience coordinating large global corporate property accounts.
- Field and desktop evaluation of earthquake risks.
- Knowledge of NFPA or FM Global guidelines.
- Willingness to travel in the US and possibly Canada/international.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site field surveys and risk assessments for underwriting.
- Develop loss control programs and client-specific solutions.
- Produce risk engineering reports and recommendations for clients.
- Support underwriting with data-driven risk insights and ARC services.
- Balance field work with account reviews and client meetings.
