Job summary

JSMM INC. is seeking a Lead Property Repair Specialist & Working Restoration Lead to execute high-end residential and commercial repairs across Greater Chicago.

You will perform finish carpentry, drywall finishing, painting, and light mechanical touch-ups, coordinating with project managers to keep field timelines on schedule. The role requires 5+ years in construction, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel regionally with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in general construction, remodeling, or property maintenance.
• Proficient in finish carpentry, drywall hanging/finishing, painting, and basic punch-out mechanical tasks.
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Willingness to travel regionally and work overtime as needed on projects.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Finish Carpentry & Restoration Work: high-end carpentry, trim, doors, cabinets, light framing.
• Drywall finishing: hang, tape, mud, sand to Level 4/5 readiness.
• Painting & surface prep: interior/exterior painting, priming, staining.
• Punch-list execution: minor plumbing, electrical touch-ups, hardware tweaks.
• Site & vehicle organization: keep vehicle stocked and travel efficiently between sites.
• Operations support: provide progress updates and material needs with project managers.
