Job summary

HACM is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee multiple housing properties, including HUD/LIHTC programs. You will lead staff, manage budgets, analyze financials, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

The role requires strategic planning, strong communication, and ability to adapt to market conditions. You will coordinate with the Vice President of Asset Management to achieve occupancy targets and resident services excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and residential property management experience.
• Experience developing business and strategic plans for a residential property is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Housing and Maintenance staff and oversees operations.
• Assists in developing and updating department goals, budgets, and maintenance programs.
• Manages financial operations and annual operating budgets, ensuring HUD guidelines are followed.
• Monitors property and tenant data to guide decisions and strategic planning.
• Develops strategic business plans and capital/operational budgets for assigned properties.
• Communicates goals to staff and maintains marketing plans for properties.
• Performs other duties as required.
