Job summary

Aon is seeking a Senior Property Placement Broker for Power & Renewable Energy. The role is based in Boston and focuses on leading strategy, design, and marketing of builder's risk and operational property programs for Power and Renewable Energy clients.

The broker will coordinate submissions with clients and internal teams, provide ongoing client service throughout the broking process, and negotiate with underwriters while leveraging technology to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of P&C insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of property insurance coverages.
• Some M&A experience or due diligence exposure is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and presentations.
• Ability to travel to support sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy, design, and marketing of power and renewable energy builder's risk programs.
• Coordinate submission information with clients and internal teams.
• Provide broking status and ongoing client service throughout engagement.
• Develop client presentations and present terms to clients with Account Management.
• Negotiate with underwriters and manage endorsements.
• Leverage technology in broking and client service processes.
• Manage end-to-end client service, including binding, invoicing, and policy prep.
• Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients and producing offices.
• Maintain client relationships and assist in delivering RFP tenders.
