Job summary

MRK Partners in Cranbury, NJ seeks a Senior Property Manager to oversee operations across multiple properties totaling 90 units. You will manage revenue/expense, budgets, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with LIHTC and funding sources.

The role includes supervising staff, coordinating capital improvements, and maintaining documentation and adherence to regulations. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of six years within the property management industry.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a management position, including budget, accounting, compliance, and staff management.
• Experience with LIHTC, Public Housing, Tax Credit, and Section 8 is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and instills company mission and values within all employees.
• Champions continuous improvement and enhances resident satisfaction and property performance.
• Ensure properties meet safety, security, maintenance, marketing, and curb appeal obligations.
• Develops operating and capital budgets reflecting owner performance goals.
• Forecasts and oversees major capital projects (HVAC, roofing, parking lot).
• Reviews operations and takes action to address deficiencies.
• Analyzes monthly financial statements and submits variance reports.
• Maintains accurate documentation and property files.
• Coordinates revenue collection per lease obligations and AR procedures.
• Manages resident relations and coordinates repairs or maintenance needs.
