Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of large residential assets or a portfolio of communities. The role focuses on preserving and growing asset value through disciplined expense control, revenue optimization, and capital stewardship, while delivering a superior resident experience and leading an on-site team.

This position operates with limited day-to-day direction, serves as a mentor to Property Managers, and ensures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field preferred; or an Associate’s degree with progressive experience.
• Experience managing a large or complex asset or multi-property portfolio.
• Affordable housing compliance experience (HUD/Section 8/LITHC) preferred or required for assets subject to these programs.

Responsibilities

• Owns the Annual Operating Budget for the assigned asset or portfolio and manages performance against it throughout the year.
• Reviews monthly financial statements, identifies variances, and implements corrective actions.
• Directs bookkeeping and accounting functions including receipts, disbursements, mortgage, tax, and management fees.
• Directs maintenance, upkeep, reconditioning, and alterations in line with the budget.
• Oversees leasing, occupancy, and revenue management, including pricing, concessions, and lease preparation.
• Directs on-site team leadership, recruitment, onboarding, and development.
