Job summary

Indian Hills is seeking a driven Senior Property Manager to stabilize a distressed residential community. This hands-on leader will oversee day-to-day operations, leasing, collections, maintenance coordination, staff management, and financial performance to restore full occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property management experience, preferably multifamily or distressed properties.
• Proven ability to stabilize underperforming properties and lead teams.
• Strong leadership, hiring, supervision, and performance management skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, leasing best practices, and local housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and preventive care.
• Manage maintenance requests, prioritize urgent items, and coordinate with vendors and staff.
• Monitor lease terms, community rules, and safety policies; enforce them.
• Handle resident complaints with professionalism and prompt follow-through.
• Supervise on-site teams including leasing, maintenance, porters, and contractors; coach performance.
