Position

The Senior Property Manager will oversee property management of in-fill urban retail centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a principal-based environment, with an investor-oriented approach to maximizing cash flow and increasing property value. Experience managing property management and engineering teams, understanding tenant mix, and representing the company in community interactions are essential. This is a highly visible role requiring leadership, management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property visits and inspections to ensure maintenance and functionality
• Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants and vendors, addressing concerns and ensuring lease compliance
• Manage projects directed by senior management
• Assist leasing teams with negotiations and tenant improvements
• Bid, negotiate, and recommend projects such as repairs and renovations
• Oversee project construction, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
• Review and approve operating expenses and CAM reconciliations
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenses
• Provide periodic reports and participate in property status meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5-7 years of commercial property management experience, especially with large in-fill urban retail properties
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of contracts, leases, and leasing objectives
• Customer service and tenant relations skills
• Ability to manage vendors and contractors
• Professional presentation and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to collaborate with management, tenants, contractors, and accounting
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Yardi is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
