Job summary

Hayes Gibson Property Services is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance across multiple properties, ensuring safe, well-maintained living spaces for residents. The role combines leadership with hands-on expertise in building systems, preventive maintenance planning, and cost control.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate inspections, handle budgets, and step in for hands-on tasks as needed while maintaining strong resident relations and compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising a maintenance team.
• Hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
• Previous experience as Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to complete work to high standards.
• Plan and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections; emphasize preventive maintenance.
• Provide hands-on support in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, and optimize operations to minimize downtime and costs.
