Job summary

American Campus Communities is seeking a Resident Experience Manager to lead the property team and drive an exceptional resident experience across leasing, marketing, and administration. You will recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, while ensuring high standards and strong financial oversight in partnership with the Service Manager.

You will collaborate with university partners, manage budgets, and oversee operations to deliver curb appeal, effective events, and positive resident

Qualifications

• 2 years’ leadership experience in student or multi-family housing, or similar industry
• Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field preferred
• Skills in leasing and marketing, customer service, facility management, budgeting, supervision, business administration, public relations, residence life
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise entire office team and all community assistants, overseeing leasing, marketing and admin operations to deliver an exceptional resident experience
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop direct reports to meet leasing and marketing objectives
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
• Collaborate with HR on compensation adjustments for direct reports
• Oversee rent collection and comply with eviction processes with centralized services as needed
• Manage property finances, budgeting, and vendor relationships in partnership with Service Manager
• Liaise with university partners and act as ACC representative at events and meetings
• Ensure curb appeal and site maintenance through close work with Service Manager
