Job summary

SafePoint Insurance seeks a Senior Claims Examiner located in Florida for a fully remote role. You will handle daily residential and commercial property claims, CAT claims, and complex claims across Florida, Louisiana, and Texas, guiding them from first notice of loss to resolution while ensuring compliance with state requirements and company guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of property and casualty claims experience, holds a Florida All Lines Adjuster license, and demonstrates

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential/commercial property and casualty claims experience.
• Florida All Lines Adjuster license (620); multi-state licensure preferred.
• Associate's degree minimum; bachelor’s degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and directly related claims experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial property insurance policy language, coverages, and endorsements.
• Experience reviewing repair estimates and determining coverage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily residential and commercial property claims across multiple states.
• Investigate claims to determine cause of loss and coverage.
• Review repair estimates for coverage and reasonableness; negotiate settlements.
• Prepare coverage letters and denial/reservation letters.
• Maintain reserves and accurate CMS documentation.
• Coordinate with field adjusters, contractors, and attorneys.
