Job summary

You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve homeowner, dwelling, condo, renters, and small commercial property claims across multiple states with a focus on accuracy and service. Qualified candidates have 5+ years of property claim experience, a BA/BS, strong knowledge of policy language, and proficiency with Xactimate and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of property claim experience with an insurer.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of property and casualty policies and claims handling.
• Proficient in Xactimate for property damage estimates; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze property claims to determine coverage and damages.
• Interpret policy language and communicate determinations to stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence including coverage letters and agreements.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation, notes, and reserves.
• Communicate with insureds, agents, contractors, and internal teams.
• Create and audit property damage estimates using Xactimate.
