Job summary

PLS Claims is seeking an experienced Senior Property Field Adjuster to support our New Jersey operations. The role focuses on full-cycle adjustment of personal and commercial property claims, including complex losses, with direct client interaction in a high-visibility capacity.

The ideal candidate will have five or more years of property field adjusting experience, excellent written communication skills, and the ability to review diverse policy coverages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of property field adjusting experience
• Proficiency with Xactimate
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellence in written communication and reporting
• Ability to review diverse policy coverages and handle complex claims

Responsibilities

• Conduct full property adjustments for personal and commercial lines, including building, personal property, and business income/Loss of Use
• Perform thorough claim investigations and evaluations from first notice through resolution
• Track time and expenses on Time & Expense basis
• Prepare clear, professional claim reports and correspondence
• Identify coverage issues, liability considerations, and subrogation opportunities
• Navigate claims toward timely resolution with sound judgment
