Job summary

The role requires extensive GAAP knowledge, strong communication to boards, and experience with property management software like Yardi, MRI, or RealPage. Excellent organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8–12+ years accounting/finance experience in property management, real estate, or co-op/condo operations.
• Strong understanding of NYC cooperative and condominium financial structures.
• Experience preparing and filing Real Property Income and Expense (RPIE) statements.
• Experience maintaining financial reporting for a portfolio of client properties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements for all managed properties.
• Review income statements, balance sheets, and ledgers for GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate financial inquiries with managers, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting for boards.
