Job summary

AKAM is seeking a seasoned Management Executive to oversee a portfolio of luxury condo and co-op buildings in New York. You will lead operations, governance, budgeting, and capital projects while mentoring Assistant Management Executives and collaborating with internal teams to meet high service standards.

You will drive financial reporting, risk management, and vendor oversight, ensuring timely board communications and proactive issue resolution in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing luxury residential or mixed-use buildings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with property management systems and financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of NYC codes, compliance agencies, and labor environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of complex condo/co-op buildings with premium service and strategic operations.
• Manage and mentor Assistant Management Executives and support professional development.
• Prepare board materials and attend meetings, ensuring timely communications.
• Coordinate budgets, inspections, vendor management, and capital projects.
• Lead governance, compliance, and risk management in collaboration with the Finance and Compliance teams.
• Respond to resident and Board concerns with professionalism and prompt follow-up.
