Job summary

Property Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a remote role open to residents of CA, WA, NV, AZ, or OR. You will manage full-cycle accounting, cash management, and financial reporting for client companies and PSG entities, delivering accurate records and timely financials.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in accounting or business, has 3–5 years of property management experience, and is proficient in Excel and property management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business from an accredited college or university.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and other Office products.
• Knowledge of Entrata, RealPage, or other property management accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze periodic financial statements and schedules for CAO review.
• Record journal entries in general ledger and balance/reconcile accounts.
• Ensure client and internal deposits are recorded promptly.
• Review and reconcile accounting documents and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with banking tasks including wire transfers and payment approvals.
• Review budget reports and assist with annual budgets.
• Support lenders, auditors, and clients with quarterly financials or tax data.
• Report state and municipal taxes (sales/use tax, personal property tax, rental unit tax).
• Contribute to development of new or amended accounting systems and procedures.
• Communicate with clients and PSG team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and assist junior staff.
