Job summary

Gallery Residential, LLC is seeking a Property Accountant/Senior Property Accountant to prepare monthly financial statements for multiple properties. You will analyze accounting reports, perform reconciliations, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits.

The role requires a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years in real estate accounting; CPA/MBA is preferred. Hybrid work schedule with remote days is offered, and Entrata/Yardi experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required with 3+ years in Real Estate accounting.
• CPA or MBA preferred; strong GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with Entrata/Yardi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned properties.
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts (prepaid, capex, property taxes, insurance).
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries, management fee and distribution calculations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for all properties.
• Oversee treasury tasks (transfers, wires/ACHs, positive pay).
• Review accounts payable for accuracy and proper coding.
• Collaborate with operations to provide financial guidance.
• Assist with quarterly/annual external audits as needed.
