This role offers ownership in a high-volume environment and requires strong organization, communication, and teamwork.

The successful candidate will perform full-cycle property accounting across multiple entities, manage journal entries, AR/AP, reconciliations, and month-end close, while supporting

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–7 years of property accounting experience in real estate required; multi-entity experience strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of journal entries, GL, AR/AP, and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to manage large data volumes accurately in a fast-paced setting.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• CPA not required.
• Comfortable working onsite, full-time; strong attendance and physical presence expected.

Aufgaben

• Perform full-cycle property accounting across a high-volume, multi-entity portfolio.
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain GL accuracy.
• Process AR and AP activity; manage aging reports and follow-up.
• Maintain tenant ledgers and rent, security deposits, and escrow accounting.
• Complete monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Track cash activity across multiple entities.
• Record and reconcile intercompany activity across related entities.
• Assist with month-end close and prepare property-level and consolidated reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies; maintain clean, well-documented records.
• Support Controller and CFO with variance analysis, auditor requests, and ad hoc reporting.
• Contribute to process improvement as the accounting function is rebuilt.
