Goldenrod is a growing commercial real estate and family office enterprise with a national portfolio spanning development, acquisitions, asset management, and investment operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to join our Omaha shared-services team.

Reporting to the CFO and Controller, this person will take ownership of accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial, residential, and industrial real estate assets.

Formación

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial or residential property accounting experience.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property accounting software.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with high accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative style.

Responsabilidades

• Manage property accounting activities, including AP/AR, journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support timely and accurate month-end close processes and monthly property management reporting.
• Review commercial leases and accurately enter lease terms into Yardi.
• Complete annual CAM reconciliations for commercial properties.
• Coordinate annual operating budgets and ensure workflows are completed on time.
• Support new-property setup and follow-up on outstanding items.

What You’ll Do

• Manage property accounting activities, including AP/AR, journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Support timely and accurate month-end close processes and monthly property management reporting
• Review commercial leases and accurately enter lease terms into Yardi
• Complete annual common-area maintenance (CAM) reconciliations for commercial properties
• Coordinate annual operating budgets and ensure assigned workflows are completed on time
• Support new-property setup, analysis, and follow-up on outstanding items
• Maintain accurate property records and a strong understanding of property-specific processes

What You Bring

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 3 years of commercial or residential property accounting experience
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property accounting software
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style
