Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive in their responsibilities, and possess broad real estate knowledge of shopping centers, retail, and other asset types. Candidates need to be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Monthly responsibilities
  • Responsible for the monthly reporting packages for shopping centers, office buildings, development properties, garages, and retail spaces.
  • Update escrow balances and mortgage summary reports.
  • Review cash flow and various management reports.
  • Provide outside accountants with statements of changes, and sources and uses files.
  • Reconcile tenant security accounts and ledgers.
  • Create AP batches for mortgages in Yardi.
  • Review and approve invoices in Yardi.
  • Review bank reconciliations.
  • Update escrow and mortgage balances for the Treasury Department.
  • Maintain accounting workpapers.
  • Review distribution schedules provided by the Treasury Department and document variances.
Annual responsibilities
  • Prepare quarterly status reports with asset managers.
  • Prepare annual budgets and 3-year projections with Property Managers and Lease Administrators, including leasing assumptions and operating expenses.
  • Review CAM reconciliations for budgets and year-end audits.
  • Prepare year-end audit workpaper packages and coordinate with auditors.
  • Assist in completing audited financial statements.
  • Record journal entries for consolidated books at year-end.
  • Update GAAP straight-line and depreciation schedules for year-end.
Other responsibilities
  • Submit quarterly financials to lenders.
  • Monitor progress of capital improvement budgets.
  • Enter property tax bills in Yardi Payscan.
  • File Income and Expense forms annually for municipalities.
  • Prepare TC201/203 forms and tax petitions with outside counsel.

Required knowledge of Yardi Voyager’s Custom Financial Reports and Advanced Budgeting Tools.
