Job summary

Clark Davis Associates in Mahwah, NJ seeks a Senior Property Accountant with commercial real estate experience to join a fast-growing firm. You will prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements and reporting packages for multiple properties.

Responsibilities include month-end close, journal entries, variance analysis, annual budgets and reforecasts, CAM and real estate tax reconciliations, and cash position analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and two to three years of experience including all aspects of accounting for commercial real estate office buildings.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze variances and budgets.

Fast growing Real Estate client looking to add an enthusiastic Senior Property Accountant! Must have Commercial Real Estate experience. Will prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements/reporting packages, and perform a wide variety of accounting analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide variety of accounting functions including:
• -Month-end closing and quarterly financial statements
• -Prepare journal entries and maintain workpapers
• -Analyze and explain significant budget variances
• -Prepare annual budgets and reforecasts
• -CAM and Real Estate Tax reconciliations
• - Analyze available cash position of real estate projects
• - Assist management with special projects
• - Analyze closing/financing documents to identify applicable accounting treatment

for the transactions
