Dead River Company is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial propane and oil burner equipment with a focus on safety and customer service. The role involves field work, on-call shifts, and maintaining customer property and company reputation.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of relevant oil/propane service experience.
• Must possess valid Massachusetts Oil Burner Technician Certificate for service, installation, and repair.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and have a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• Licenses such as Massachusetts Gas Fitter and/or LPG Installer required for propane work.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair oil/propane heating equipment and appliances per codes and company policy.
• Perform efficiency tests, tune-ups, and service inspections.
• Record parts and labor for service calls per procedures.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and tools in safe operating condition.
• Participate in night/weekend on-call schedule as necessary.
