Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a Service Technician to install and repair residential and commercial propane and/or oil burner equipment, upholding exceptional customer service. You will maintain customer property, act as a trusted advisor, and represent the brand promise in every interaction.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, safety-focused work, and on-call coverage. Required MA certifications and a high school diploma with relevant field experience; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Oil/propane service experience with safety-focused approach.
• Massachusetts licenses or certifications as listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair oil/propane heating equipment per codes and policies.
• Perform efficiency tests, tune-ups, and service inspections.
• Record parts and labor for service calls and manage inventory.
• Promote company products and advise customers on options.
• Participate in on-call schedule and training of apprentices.
