Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking a Project Surveyor, LS for our Baxter office to serve southern Minnesota clients. You will lead survey planning, boundary calculations, and project administration while mentoring staff and supporting business development.

The ideal candidate holds a Minnesota LS license, a related bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years of surveying experience with CAD tools like AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation. Travel may be required as part of a dynamic Midwest practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college.
• Licensed Land Surveyor (LS) in Minnesota.
• 5+ years of progressive land survey experience.
• Working knowledge of CAD and survey software (AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation).
• Knowledge of specialized software for QA/QC purposes in surveying.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel and stay overnight if needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate survey planning, schedules, processing, and project administration.
• Perform boundary calculations using coordinate geometry software.
• Manage existing survey records, research, plan interpretation and staking.
• Collect, process, interpret, and correct field measurements for survey projects.
• Support business development through RFPs, presentations, and client engagement.
• Mentor and develop professional and technical survey staff.
