Job summary

Abonmarche is seeking a Project Surveyor for its Hobart, IN office to organize, coordinate, and manage surveying and mapping projects. Responsibilities include boundary calculations, QA/QC, directing crews, drafting legal descriptions, and managing budgets.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a degree in Land Surveying, Indiana licensure, and strong communication skills. Experience with AutoCAD is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs boundary calculations, analysis, and field support calculations.
• Prepares boundary resolution and calculations.
• Independently evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques and criteria.
• Reads, researches, and interprets deeds and maps.
• Drafts legal descriptions and prepares easements, plats, and surveys.
• Manages project budget and reports results to management.
• Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization monthly and at project completion.
