Job summary

James G. Davis Construction Corporation seeks a Project Superintendent to provide on-site leadership, coordinate planning and execution, and supervise foremen and trade partners. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and budget control on complex projects in the Greater Philadelphia area.

You will lead field meetings, verify submittals and drawings, and drive look-ahead schedules while maintaining strong client and team relationships.

Qualifications

• Six years of construction operations experience or a Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification and OSHA 30-hour training.
• Experience with scheduling, spreadsheets, and project management software.
• General knowledge of sustainable construction (e.g., LEED).
• Ability to lead field meetings and coordinate with multiple trade partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead field meetings, coordinate with partners and stakeholders to align on goals.
• Supervise foremen and trade partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe job site with OSHA guidelines.
• Review submittals, logs, and specs for accuracy and constructability.
• Maintain project documentation and manage look-ahead schedules and progress.
