Job summary

J. Davis Construction is seeking a Superintendent to support the General Construction Team across multiple projects in the Southeast.

The role emphasizes maintaining schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met on time and within budget. You will work closely with Project Managers to develop execution plans, manage site operations, and keep open lines of communication with owners and teams.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read blueprints
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of commercial/industrial construction
• MS Office proficiency
• Experience with project management processes

Responsibilities

• Maintain client satisfaction on assigned project(s).
• Lead development of the Project Execution Plan with PM.
• Coordinate site logistics with the PM and subs.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule and recovery plans.
• Ensure safety and quality requirements are followed on site.
• Review RFIs and submittals with design/owner teams.
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Monitor and help control project budget and overruns.
