Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Sr. Project Superintendent for our Industrial team. Semiconductor experience preferred. This role requires willingness to travel nationally based on project needs.

The Senior Project Superintendent will oversee profitable field operations on complex projects, set a strong safety culture on site, and collaborate with Project Managers to control schedule, budget and staffing. Strong client and subcontractor relations are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight (8) years of field and project construction management experience.
• Industrial experience strongly preferred; semiconductor experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents; understand methods and materials.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills; good time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Construct the project in accordance with plans, schedule, specifications and standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field employees on a jobsite.
• Lead project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy.
• Work with the Project Manager to manage schedule, budget and staff.
