Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Superintendent with GC leadership experience in Commercial and Aviation projects. This role involves traveling to site locations, leading field teams, managing safety, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Superintendent experience
• GC experience in commercial/aviation projects
• Experience leading and mentoring a team
• Experience in lived-in product type construction desired

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field forces on a job site
• Maintain project safety per policy
• Develop and update the project schedule and resource allocation
• Prepare two-week look ahead schedules
• Oversee daily construction activities to ensure quality, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure contract and safety compliance
• Conduct site inspections and address quality issues
• Update project schedules using scheduling software
• Oversee all aspects of project execution including budgets and quality control
• Maintain strong communication with PMs, clients and stakeholders
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and timely
• Provide opportunities for team development and growth
• Foster positive relationships with internal and external parties
