Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; minimum five years’ experience in heavy highway excavation or related work.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and cost-control skills; familiarity with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan procedures for construction based on start/finish times and staffing for each phase.
• Schedules crews, orders equipment and materials to meet work schedules.
• Coordinates subcontractor work daily and communicates with project manager.
• Inspects work for compliance with contracts and quality standards.
• Oversees PCI divisions (Concrete, Asphalt & Excavation) for the project.
• Maintains field cost control, labor productivity, and material usage.
• Prepares daily field documentation and progress reports.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and OSHA requirements met.
• Assists estimating and preconstruction staff with bid preparation and planning.
• Coordinates with stakeholders as required.
