Job summary

Croell, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on heavy civil and highway construction projects. The role coordinates subcontractors, supports field crews, and ensures projects progress safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil or highway work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Regular travel and overtime during peak season are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil or highway construction.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or field leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities on heavy civil and highway projects.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and per plans, specs, and schedules.
• Work with Croell superintendents/foremen and field crews to improve productivity and minimize downtime.
• Identify conflicts between subcontractors and Croell operations and develop solutions.
• Monitor progress and communicate schedule concerns, delays, and improvements to management.
