Job summary
The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Superintendent to join our West Palm Beach team. You will lead subcontractors and field forces to deliver safe, on-time, and high-quality commercial construction projects while partnering with the Project Manager on schedule, budget, and staffing.
The role emphasizes strong leadership, mentorship, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project superintendent experience.
- Commercial construction experience with a GC is required.
- Experience in education, municipal, hospitality, aviation, resorts, or senior living construction.
- Experience leading, developing, and mentoring a team.
Responsibilities
- Lead subcontractors and field forces on the job site.
- Maintain project safety per policy.
- Develop and update project schedule and resource allocation.
- Prepare two-week look ahead schedules and pull planning sessions.
- Oversee daily construction activities to meet quality, timeline, and budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and manage performance and safety.
