GFT is seeking a Project Scheduler to provide scheduling services for transit projects in Washington, DC or Alexandria, Virginia. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least 3 days per week in the Greater DC area.

You will develop and manage project schedules, monitor costs and resources, generate progress reports, and coordinate with project management, clients, and consultants. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management and extensive Primavera P6 experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• 7+ years of experience developing critical path schedules for major capital transit or infrastructure projects and the ability to monitor schedules for constraints (cost, scope, schedule, risk, resource).
• 5+ years of experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software for large to medium projects.
• 3+ years of construction scheduling experience with contractor.
• Experience with advanced scheduling principles using Primavera P6, MS Project or other related system applications.
• Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel.
• Credentialed PSP or PMI-SP (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Develop, manage, update, and monitor project schedules and the master program schedule.
• Monitor labor and resource demands and report variances and risks.
• Evaluate data on cost status, resource requirements, and productivity variance reports.
• Prepare monthly program and project progress reports.
• Establish scheduling and cost control standards.
• Coordinate with project management, client, and consultants on control activities.
• Attend meetings to review baseline schedules and stay current on schedules.
