GFT, a leading AEC firm, seeks a Project Scheduler to support major capital projects across North America, focusing on the New York metro area. The role emphasizes Primavera P6 scheduling, critical path analysis, and coordination with project teams, engineers, and contractors to keep programs on track.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of scheduling experience, strong CPM knowledge, and proven communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of project scheduling experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated master project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Build schedules for engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and recovery opportunities.
• Prepare monthly schedule update reports and 4-week look-ahead schedules.
• Provide weekly schedule updates during active construction.
• Integrate contractor cost-loaded schedules into the master schedule.
• Support earned value management reporting and project performance tracking.
• Coordinate schedule development with stakeholders and facilitate baseline reviews.
• Track procurement milestones, material deliveries, outage requirements, and key project milestones.
• May require some travel to work site locations as needed.
• Prepare analyses of delays to support time extension requests
• Evaluate time extension requests and supporting analysis prepared by Others
