Hitachi Rail GTS USA LLC in New York is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler/Planner to develop and manage complex schedules for infrastructure and transit projects. You will lead scheduling using Primavera P6, coordinating with local teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure schedule integrity and timely reporting.

The role requires 7+ years of scheduling experience on major projects and strong CPM/EVMS background, with a focus on delivering detailed schedule narratives and bid-related

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of scheduling experience in complex technology projects, with at least 3 years supporting New York projects.
• Expert level skills in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project software and working knowledge of schedule integration and cost/resource loading.
• Advanced/Expert skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM), project controls, and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and monitor project schedules in Primavera P6 in accordance with customer standards and templates.
• Coordinate with local project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and reporting.
• Generate and validate monthly/quarterly updates of EAC and labor demand.
• Provide reports/metrics including Critical Path, Earned Value, EAC variance, and KPIs.
