Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Summit Line subsidiary of Quanta Services, is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and update Primavera P6 CPM schedules for high‑voltage transmission, distribution, and substation projects. You will collaborate with management, project managers, field supervision, and procurement to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent scheduling experience, at least 3 years in project scheduling, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated scheduling experience.
• Minimum 3 years in project scheduling, preferably in electrical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for baseline, update, analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of CPM with predecessor and successor logic, constraints, total float.
• Experience establishing baselines and performing progress, variance, and float analyses.
• Experience preparing schedule narratives and TIAs.
• Familiarity with WBS development, resource loading, and contractual submittal requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration skills with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget the time required to meet milestones.
• Develop and maintain master schedules with management, and break into 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with crews and notify customers on schedule changes.
• Build activity logic in Primavera P6 and define baselines.
• Document scope, logic, and constraints in the baseline.
• Develop and maintain assigned project schedules; major revisions subject to review.
• Develop and maintain the project WBS and resource-load schedules.
• Track baselines weekly; monitor progress and propose corrective actions.
• Perform schedule QA/QC and health analysis per standards.
