Job summary

Teal Energi seeks an accomplished Senior Project Planner / Scheduler to manage schedules for downstream projects, maintenance, turnarounds, and digital initiatives in the Houston area.

The role requires a decade of planning experience, strong Primavera P6 skills, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, operations, and project controls. Long-term contract with growth opportunities in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of planning, scheduling, or project controls experience within energy sectors.
• Strong proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules.
• Understanding of project controls principles, critical path, earned value, and risk analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work across operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and other tools.
• Create Level 3 and Level 4 schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and readiness.
• Support planning across capital projects, maintenance, turnarounds, and transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate schedule reviews with project teams and stakeholders.
• Identify critical path activities, risks, constraints, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop resource-loaded schedules and support forecasting activities.
• Monitor performance against baselines and milestones.
• Partner with project controls, cost, engineering, procurement, and operations teams for alignment.
• Support dashboards, KPIs, reporting tools, and analytics.
• Contribute to digital transformation and improved planning processes.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning standards and governance.
