Job summary

Primoris Energy Services in Independence, Missouri, seeks a Senior Project Control Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze CPM schedules for pipelines, power plants, and industrial facilities.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather data, perform critical path analyses, monitor progress against baselines, and prepare detailed reports and dashboards for senior management. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel is required; PMP/PMI-SP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in project controls scheduling, preferably in energy/oil & gas or heavy industrial construction.
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (EPPM and Professional) is required or highly expected.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling techniques and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain CPM schedules for large energy projects (pipelines, power plants, industrial facilities) from initiation through closeout.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather data, define WBS, and identify critical path activities.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis, and what-if scenarios to identify delays and mitigation.
• Monitor and report progress against baselines, identify variances, and develop recovery plans as needed.
• Prepare and present detailed schedule reports, progress updates, and dashboards to project teams and senior management.
• Integrate schedule data with cost control systems and support change management processes.
