Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services (AIS) seeks senior engineering and project control professionals to support DOE missions at Y-12 and Pantex. The role emphasizes earned value, cost/schedule management, and strong communication with government stakeholders.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with extensive scheduling experience, a Q clearance or ability to obtain one, and hands-on expertise with Primavera P6, Empower, WebEVM, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree with extensive relevant experience is required.
• Q clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
• Demonstrated advanced skills in planning, scheduling, cost control, change management and variance reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have Primavera P6 experience and strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, SAP and WebEVM.
• Experience with Empower is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical activities of assigned projects per Government and Plant directives.
• Plan, coordinate and direct PM mission activities.
• Provide leadership for planning, scheduling, integration, analysis and reporting on multiple scopes.
• Ensure tools and data allow PM to track budget and compliance.
• Manage cost, schedule, and risk plans and performance data.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and report outputs.
