Job summary

K&A Power Group in Binghamton, NY, is seeking a Scheduler & Cost Controller to lead cost control and scheduling for energy projects. You will generate cost and schedule reports, monitor budgets, and support earned value management across multiple projects.

The role requires SAP/Primavera/MS Project proficiency, CAPM/PMI-SP certification, and experience with substations, T&D, and related domains. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years in Construction Project Scheduling.
• CAPM or PMI-SP Certification required (Avangrid approval).
• SAP experience required; Primavera and/or MS Project experience preferred.
• Experience in Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG domains.
• PM scheduling and cost control processes including EVM are essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular and ad-hoc cost and schedule reports for project control.
• Verify cost coding and budgeting accuracy across projects.
• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedule per customer standards.
• Run Critical Path Analysis and forecast schedule impacts.
• Support progress measurement and update progress curves.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to align cost/base schedules.
