Job summary

K&A Power Group in Augusta, Maine, seeks a Scheduler & Cost Controller to join a dynamic, project-driven team. This role focuses on cost control, scheduling, and integration of project data across disciplines to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You will develop and maintain schedules, manage cost reporting, and support senior project leadership with planning and control activities in a high-energy energy sector environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years of experience in Construction Project Scheduling.
• CAPM or PMI-SP Certificate or equivalent (requires Avangrid approval)
• SAP experience required
• Primavera (preferred) and/or MS Project experience required
• Experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted: Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG
• In-office position (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports in support of project planning and control initiatives.
• Verifying the accuracy of cost information and allocating costs to the project budget.
• Producing accounting and project cost reports and forecasts.
• Develop an Integrated Master Schedule of the project and progress curves for reporting.
• Perform EVM during all project stages and monitor progress against baselines.
• Coordinate Scheduler-Cost Controller Group under Manager Planning and Control.
