Job summary

AEP is seeking a project scheduler/analyst to coordinate team activities and support Project Managers. You will function as a scheduler and commodity tracker for major projects, develop complex schedules using Primavera P6, and provide accurate progress data to senior management.

The role requires self-motivation, strong communication, and ability to interface with site teams, contractors, and senior management. On-site Columbus, OH; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: degree requirements depend on experience and can include related fields.
• Experience: utility/project management scheduling with complex schedules.
• Certifications: PMP, CCMP or related preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Define activities, durations, sequences, and logic to develop scope of work and milestones.
• Develop fully integrated system schedules with resource loading and critical path methodology.
• Mentor junior schedulers and lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders.
• Communicate schedule status and advise on risks and mitigation strategies.
• Align scheduling practices with AEP governance and project management standards.
• Coordinate schedule and cost integration including SPI/CPI analyses.
