Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to lead CPM Primavera P6 schedules across data center, power, and industrial electrical projects.

You will partner with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to drive on-time execution and manage risks. The role demands advanced P6 skills, experience with cost- and resource-loaded schedules, and strong communication across departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of scheduling experience for large-scale electrical projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 with cost- and resource-loaded scheduling.
• Experience with GC subcontract submittal requirements (baseline, monthly updates, recovery schedules).
• Collaborate with engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Strong communication and influencing across departments.
• Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management/Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CPM Primavera P6 schedules for large-scale electrical projects.
• Build and maintain resource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with baselines.
• Integrate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Perform critical path analysis, what-if scenarios, and productivity tracking.
• Identify schedule risks, evaluation sequencing, and mitigation strategies.
• Produce earned value metrics, KPIs, and cash flow reports for project controls.
• Support look-ahead planning and short-interval schedules.
• Maintain compliant schedule documentation and submittals per contract and company standards.
