Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Project Safety Manager for its semiconductor manufacturing projects. You will apply construction safety standards, work with project teams, and lead site safety efforts to minimize injuries and ensure safe project execution.

The role requires extensive OSHA knowledge, field leadership, and the ability to develop hazard analyses and deliver site training. Strong background in safety certifications and semiconductor environments is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction safety experience
• Proven knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations
• Experience in the semiconductor industry
• Ability to meet essential functions and pass certifications/clearances

Responsibilities

• Provide incident prevention support including inspecting the job site and equipment
• Serve as on-site Competent Person for regular inspections
• Oversee safety professionals on the project
• Advise site superintendents on safe work practices and risk controls
• Investigate incidents to identify root cause and corrective actions
• Deliver toolbox talks and site-specific safety training
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses for new major processes
• Conduct PPE assessments and recommend improvements
